Structure of Computerized Boards

A control board consists of the following building blocks:
  • A CPU card supporting printers, floppies, and other PC compatible devices.
  • A CPU to handle front panel / control panel devices such as keys, LEDs, faders and    displays.
  • A CPU to handle the communication link to devices such as dimmers in the dimmer     room.
  • Video controllers to display stage information on a monitor.
