There is a large variety of front
projection
screens suitable for
stage
projections. Matt white screens, made of plastic or PVC, have a wide viewing angle and a low gain. This type of screen is the best for a sharp, complete reflection.
Lenticular screens, which have metallic lenticular coating, have a narrow viewing angle and high gain, produce very bright and sharp projections which can be viewed only within the specified viewing angle, beyond which the brightness drops off sharply.
Aluminum screens have an extremely high gain and a very narrow viewing angle.
