Ethernet DMX support devices

E-MIX 2
The E-Mix 2 node is a dedicated Ethernet/DMX and DMX/Ethernet converter. The E-Mix pulls DMX packets off the Ethernet, merging and transmitting the information as standard DMX strings. The E-Mix 2 nodes accept standard DMX transmissions and can rebroadcast them on the Ethernet.
E-Mix  nodes are typically situated in dimmer rooms and on hanging positions. The single Ethernet feed allows short DMX lines between nodes and end-equipment. Two E-Mix nodes may be connected back-to-back, to extend DMX data over a large distance between non-Ethernet devices. A local 2 x 16 characters LCD display and 6 push buttons are used to set up in stand-alone configurations.

Software updates may be loaded via serial link or pushed over the Ethernet network.

CompuLINK
CompuLINK provides a comprehensive workstation that allows complete control of any console on the network, as well as outputting DMX data generated by any console. Among its many features, CompuLINK allow access to various console’s exam displays, adding texts tags to console’s objects, selecting display format for the local monitor (without affecting console’s displays), and even disconnecting the workstation from the network without obstructing the console operator’s work.

Video LINK
Ethernet workstation consists of a 19” unit with a monitor and a text keyboard.
The VideoLINK has all the display, text, and keyboard mastering capabilities of a CompuLINK, including support for remote controls (RCU and UWR/UCR) and extension wings (Macro and Submaster wings).

A single SVGA display shows real time information from the main console. The VideoLINK display can be configured separately from the main console display to enable full monitoring of all operator actions or the receive any other information (i.e. patch tables, playbacks state, cue list etc.).

Software updates may be loaded via a serial link or the Ethernet.

Compulite NET Administrator (CAN)
Compulite NET Administrator (CAN) is a tool for configuring Ethernet network devices (CompuLINK, VideoLINK and E-MIX converters) and the Virtual Connectors table (VC table). The VC Table determines what will be the DMX 512 data output from connectors throughout the network. A complete changeover of connector patch is possible in seconds.

The Compulite Net Administrator also enables performing software upgraded to all Ethernet devices.

Compulite File Server (CFS)
Compulite File Server (CFS) software maps consoles and CompuLINK to a PC workstation functioning as a file server. The CFS enable recording and loading of show files, and device type files from all the consoles on the network. The CFS also enables software upgrades to all Ethernet workstations.

When using the CFS all shows, device type files, and software upgrades are backed-up to a central location, where they may be orderly backed-up to external media (floppy disks, CD-RW, Zip disks, etc.).
